The Age old Argument My 1911 can kick you Glock's back side

In the begging there was Browning's 1911. Then a new era dawned. The Glock. Since then the age old question has since gone undecided by majority.

I like Grant's thinking - SIG!

However, I think it boils down more to the operator than the platform. I think both are in most cases capable of better accuracy than most shooters can squeeze from them.

I voted yes, because both my carry guns are loosely based on the 1911 platform, but I would be equally comfortable betting my life on a Grock >:D... err...Glock!

There are 2 men I look up to: Richard Marcinko, the Rogue Warrior - and Ted Nugent, the Axe Warrior. Both are as subtle as, and devastatingly effective as, a hand grenade.

I wish I could take credit for this term, but I can't - a guy on another forum I belong to refers to Glocks (and all polymer weapons in general,) as "Combat Tupperware."
